International Higher Education (IHE) publishes insightful, informed, and high-quality commentary and analysis on trends and issues of importance to higher education systems, institutions, and stakeholders around the world.
IHE covers an extensive array of topics and is interested in all geographic regions. Journal History
International Higher Education (IHE) was launched by the Boston College Center for International Higher Education in Spring 1995. Since that time, it has consistently produced four issues per year, under the guidance of its founding editor, Dr. Philip G. Altbach. The current editorial team consists of Philip G. Altbach, Hans de Wit, Rebecca Schendel, Gerardo Blanco and Chris Glass.
